Reclaimed and Re-upholstered

Month: November, 2012

Grey-Brown Retro Armchair Piped to Perfection
Stripped and waxed, new webbing and new zipped seat pad. The prettiest buttoned scatter cushion I HAVE EVER MADE (expect more of them, yessiree). This is a really really really comfy chair. Unfortunately, our house is filling up with chairs and lego. Something’s gotta give. And it’s the chairs.

Birdy Birdy Num Num

Petite nursery chair festooned in birdhouse fabric by troismiettes on spoonflower (http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/5299), finished off with round-headed tacks. To be honest, I’d be happy if I never had to look at another round-headed tack again in my life, so this chair has to go.

Pretty as a Picture

Get mommy a cocktail.

This cutie-pie will be up for sale as soon as it stops raining and I can get some proper pictures up. That’ll be sometime in August 2013 then…

Footstool with Cheeky Ankles

Commission for the in-laws. God bless the in-laws. And their tired feet.

Pretty in Pink

I’m going to pipe the outside of this and hand finish it. Now, to wrestle with the box cushion.

Peachy Keen Cocktail Chair

Part of a pair, picked up in the Forest of Dean, this little beauty is being stripped and ripped and completely re-upholstered in a pink print ready for Mad Men styled derrieres to perch on it, sipping dirty martinis. Phewee.
